Celebrating those who help kids grow up great

On April 27, 2022, Strengthening Positive Assets & Resiliency in Communities (SPARC) Red Deer celebrated 50 community members who have made significant contributions towards helping kids grow up great.
The SPARC Caring Adult Awards recognize people in the community who build assets in local young people. The successful event brought these honoured nominees together and each was presented with a letter from Mayor Ken Johnston and a plant in a hand-designed pot. The pots were made by SPARC Paint the Town Positive youth, which is a youth chapter of SPARC. The youth included positive messaged on the pots thanking nominees for "helping kids grow up great".
