Public Crime and Community Safety Meetings

November 06, 2019

Public crime and community safety meetings will continue today, with the third of six taking place at Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School tonight at 6 p.m.

So far, approximately 60 people have come out to participate, but The City continues to seek more input and ideas on actions we, as a community, can take to reduce crime and improve community safety.

The meeting runs for approximately two hours with citizens encouraged to be there for the duration of the meeting, if possible. Childcare is available at the Collicutt Centre and G.H. Dawe Community Centre for those who need it. The childcare space is limited, and availability is on a first come, first serve basis.

People are encouraged to register for the meetings they plan to attend by visit www.reddeer.ca/bettertogether; however, an RSVP is not required, and all are welcome.

Please visit www.reddeer.ca/bettertogether or call us at 403-342-8147 if you have questions or need more information.
